The Forum will convene a diverse network of financial institutions, fintechs, and multilaterals to explore strategies for enhancing SME access to finance, driving innovation, and fostering job creation and inclusive growth through thought-provoking discussions and interactive panels.
The Global SME Finance Forum is hosted by IFC’s SME Finance Forum and the Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN).
The Global SME Finance Forum will take place from 15-17 September 2025.
The event will be held at The Galleria in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The dress code for the event is Business Casual.

• Industry Pass: US$900 (Early Bird Access ends 15 July). Complimentary for SME Finance Forum Members
• SME Pass: USD $100 (for the first 100 SMEs). For micro, small, or medium enterprises with up to 300 employees, an annual turnover of no more than US$15 million, and at least one year of operations.
• Policy pass: Complimentary access for policymakers, regulators and other government institutions only
• Media pass: Complimentary access for accredited editorial members of the press only
The Global Forum passes include access to a variety of curated programmes including: Forum Stage, FutureMatters™ Stage, Public-Private Roundtables, Deep-Dive Workshops, All Day Dining, Industry Networking Events and 1-1 Meetings.
