Through a combination of practitioner presentations, facilitated discussion, and audience Q&A, participants will learn about the critical factors that make agrifinance and agricultural service-delivery models effective and bankable. Particular attention will be given to customer value propositions, partnerships across the agricultural value chain, the role of digital platforms and data, approaches to managing risks and delivery costs, and pathways to profitability and scale.
The session will focus 1) on practical business models that connect smallholder farmers with finance, inputs, services, and markets, 2) Identify the key success factors, implementation challenges, and risks associated with scaling these models, and 3) Examine how partnerships, digital solutions, and alternative data can strengthen service delivery and financial inclusion in agricultural value chains.
