Jojo Malolos

Jojo is currently Chief Executive Officer of PayMongo, one of the Philippines' leading financial infrastructure, where he is steering the company's evolution from a high-growth startup to a resilient, scalable, and compliant fintech institution. He is concurrently Chairman of the Fintech Philippines Association (FPH), an independent, non-profit industry association representing the interests and growth of the fintech community in the Philippines.

Prior to PayMongo, he was Co-Founder and former CEO and Chairman of GoTyme Bank, a BSP-licensed digital bank, where he championed "phygital" banking — a blend of human touch and digital accessibility to democratize financial services in the Philippines. He was also CEO of JG Digital Equity Ventures (JGDEV), the corporate venture capital arm of the Gokongwei Group, deploying capital to early- and growth-stage startups and scaling data-driven platforms for retail and financial services. While running JGDEV, Jojo was also CEO of Data Analytics Ventures Inc. (DAVI), the Gokongwei Group's central data company, scaling data-driven platforms for retail and financial services using the Group's massive consumer data from its consolidated rewards programs.

Prior to returning to the Philippines in 2019, Jojo was CEO of Wing (Cambodia) Limited Specialised Bank (February 2016 to July 2019), a pioneering mobile finance institution that successfully brought the unbanked into the mainstream financial industry, enabling them to contribute to Cambodia's economic success.

Jojo was also a Southeast Asia Senior Advisory Council Member of Women's World Banking, a global nonprofit devoted to giving more low-income women access to the financial tools and resources they need to build security and prosperity.
