With over 20 years of experience in the agricultural industry, Pablo Borquez Schwarzbeck is the Founder of ProducePay, the agtech company on a mission to transform the global agricultural industry into a more predictable, connected and sustainable supply chain.
Born into a fourth-generation farming family from Mexico, Pablo grew up around the family farm “Campos Borquez”. Pablo’s experience throughout his life helped him launch ProducePay in 2014, with the mission to build a better supply chain for fresh produce, one that places trust at the center of every transaction.
Pablo started his professional career at The Giumarra Companies, managing grower relations in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and the United States. He returned to the family business and served as Chief Financial Officer until 2013, then went on to complete a Cornell University MBA. It was during this time at Cornell that ProducePay was founded and launched.
