• Over 20+ years of banking experience spanning Trade Finance, Supply Chain Finance (SCF), Global Transaction Banking, and Cross-Border Capital Transactions.
• A post-graduate in Management and ex-banker, with deep expertise in trade products, SCF structures, risk participation, and transaction banking.
• Extensive experience in handling trade & SCF P&L, product management, regulatory compliance, and technology enablement within large banking
institutions.
• Played a key role in the early development of the RBIregulated TReDS platform, contributing to procedural and operational framework design.
• Strong exposure to cross-border trade flows, equity and debt capital account transactions, and arranging trade funding from domestic and international
financial institutions.
Banking Background & Career Journey
• Began career as a banker and worked with leading institutions including Citibank and Kotak Mahindra Bank in India.
• In his last assignment, was part of the Global Transaction Banking Group at Kotak Mahindra Bank, heading Trade Products and Supply Chain Finance.
• Responsible for supporting multiple business verticals including Consumer Banking, Commercial Banking, Wholesale Banking, and Offshore Banking
• Held additional responsibilities relating to Priority Sector Lending for the Wholesale Banking Group.
• Played a key role in the integration of Wholesale Banking and Global Transaction Banking during the merger of Kotak Mahindra Bank and ING Vysya
Bank, the largest banking merger in Indian banking history.

• Member, Standing Committee on Banking Affairs – IFSCA (GIFT City Regulator).
• Co-Chair, Sustainable Finance Community of Practice – SME Finance Forum (SMEFF).
• Member, FICCI Fintech Committee, contributing to policy and fintech ecosystem discussions.
• Instrumental in the formation of a blockchain consortium of 15+ Indian banks to digitise domestic trade in India.
• Actively guided and supported multiple Supply Chain Finance platforms across India.
