Agri Finance Hub

The Agrifinance Innovation Hub session will explore how to build stronger enabling environments for agricultural finance through regulation, infrastructure, and ecosystem coordination. While promising models such as warehouse receipt finance, digital collateral systems, parametric insurance, traceability solutions, and value-chain finance continue to emerge, their success often depends on conditions that individual lenders cannot create on their own. This session will examine how the broader ecosystem can better support the growth of commercially viable agricultural finance.

The session will focus on the market infrastructure needed to make these solutions work at scale. Topics may include movable collateral frameworks, certification and grading systems, digital public infrastructure, cold-chain and storage gaps, and standards that strengthen trust in data and contract enforceability. The session will help members move beyond institution-level innovation toward the market-building reforms and partnerships needed to expand sustainable agricultural finance.
