Jacqueline De Lange is the Regional Security Manager for Africa within the EEMEA team at Mastercard, a position she has held for the past year. Based in Johannesburg, South Africa, Jacqueline leverages her extensive law enforcement and cybercrime expertise to secure Mastercard’s operations across one of the world’s fastest-growing regions.

Prior to joining Mastercard, Jacqueline served for three years at INTERPOL’s Cybercrime Directorate in Singapore as the Assistant Director for Cyber Threat Response. In this global role, she led financial and cybercrime operations across Africa, coordinating incident response and executing cybercrime operations in collaboration with law enforcement agencies, international organizations, and private sector partners across INTERPOL’s 196 member countries.

Jacqueline’s distinguished career includes her tenure as the Commercial, Financial and Cybercrime Intelligence Commander and as a Senior Special Investigator at South Africa’s Directorate for Special Operations, the Scorpions. She is a certified fraud examiner with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, a trained hostage negotiator, and an experienced trainer in tactical training.

With 34 years of exemplary service in the South African Police Services, Jacqueline has built deep operational and intelligence capabilities in the prevention, detection, investigation, and disruption of organized crime. Her diverse background and strategic leadership continue to shape Mastercard’s security posture across Africa.
