Andile Ngcaba is a leading figure in African technology and investment, as the Founder and Chairman of Convergence Partners and SolCon Capital. Founded in 2003, Convergence invests in tech solutions to support Africa's development. SolCon Capital focuses on innovative technology investments to drive long-term industry growth.

Andile contributed to the development of the New Dawn Satellite and Seacom, improving connectivity in Africa. He serves on the boards of Inq., Comsol, C-Squared, Ctrack, Datacentrix, and Seacom. He also works with organisations like the ITU, ICANN, and the African Union on public policy. Locally, he was part of the South African Presidential Fourth Industrial Revolution Commission.

Beyond business and policy work, Andile is passionate about philanthropy. Through SolCon Foundation, he leads projects in education, tech startups and entrepreneurship through Cortex Hub and R&D work at A-LABS.

Andile holds a Master of Commerce in Information Systems from the University of Witwatersrand and an honorary Doctorate in Commerce from the University of Fort Hare. He is an Adjunct Professor at Nelson Mandela University. He recently contributed to the GIGA project, a partnership between the Broadband Commission, ITU, UNICEF, and UNESCO, which aims to improve school connectivity and emphasises the role of the internet in sustainable development.
