Cas Coovadia is the Sherpa for B20 South Africa, the official business engagement group of the G20, appointed to lead South Africa’s hosting of the B20 in 2025 by Business Unity South Africa (BUSA). He retired as the CEO of BUSA in December 2024, having led the organisation for almost five years. Cas previously spent 15 years as Managing Director of The Banking Association of South Africa (BASA), where he established the organisation as a leading voice for the banking sector.
