Kingsley Adofo-Addo is currently the Group Commercial Banking Manager for SMEs and Partnerships at Ecobank Transnational Incorporated, the pan-African bank with operations in 33 African markets. In this role, he leads the SME segment across all regions, driving business growth, profitability, and customer-centric innovation. He oversees Regional SME Heads and the Bank’s gender proposition, Ellevate, ensuring strategic alignment with Ecobank’s commercial banking objectives.
With over 18 years of experience in banking, Kingsley has led transformative initiatives in financial inclusion, climate finance, and digital innovation. He has successfully deployed risk-sharing guarantees and digital solutions across Ecobank affiliates and is highly skilled in trade and structured finance. Passionate about sustainable development, Kingsley continues to champion inclusive finance and ecosystem partnerships that support the growth and resilience of SMEs across Africa.
Kingsley holds an MSc in International Business and Management from Sheffield Hallam University, an MBA in Finance from the University of Leicester, and a B.Ed. in Psychology from the University of Cape Coast. He is also a Certified Expert in Digital Finance from Frankfurt Business School and serves as a board member at the Centre for Climate Change and Sustainability Studies, University of Ghana.
