
Nkosikhona Mbatha
Acting Chief Executive Officer, Small Enterprise Development and Finance Agency
Mr Nkosikhona Mbatha is the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Small Enterprise Development and Finance Agency (Sedfa), a position he has held since 1 October 2024. With 20 years’ experience in the financial services sector, 15 of which have been focused on SMME growth within Development Finance Institutions, Mr Mbatha has held senior leadership roles including Acting CEO of Seda, National Investment Head, and Investments Divisional Manager. He is recognised for driving strategies that expand access to finance, strengthen business sustainability, and create jobs, contributing to inclusive economic growth and transformation. Mr Mbatha holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, a Postgraduate Diploma in Finance, Banking and Investment Management, and is currently completing his Master of Business Administration.
