Ayodele Ojosipe is the Head of Business Development at the Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN) where he is charged with the responsibility of working with select financial institutions to provide interventions geared towards the growth and sustainability of small businesses.
He has an extensive career experience built around the financial services sector specialized in Retail Banking, Commercial/Corporate Banking, Development finance, Innovation and Digitization, Distributor & Supply Chain Finance, Process development and Optimization, Risk Management and International trade services.
He led his team to develop and deploy one of the first end to end digital lending solutions for MSMEs in the Nigerian Banking industry.
He also worked with colleagues across the African continent in collaboration with the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) to initiate and deploy the African China Agency Proposition (ACAP) aimed at supporting African SMEs with quality guarantees, logistics and payment services on their China imports.
He is an Alumnus of Harvard Business School's Design Thinking and Innovation programme and is passionate about MSME support initiatives.
