Global Head, IFC Banking on Women, International Finance Corporation (IFC)

Jessica Schnabel is the Global Head of the Banking on Women business in IFC’s Sustainable Finance group. She leads efforts to expand financial services for women and women-led businesses in emerging markets, overseeing over US$11 billion in investments and advisory services in 324 financial institutions across 84 countries. Under her leadership, IFC has pioneered initiatives like the Banking on Women-Global Trade Finance Program and the Gender Bond.

With a background in emerging markets finance, Jessica has provided investment solutions to commercial banks, private equity funds, and asset finance companies. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and a Master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies.
