Mpumi Maesela
CEO, SE Holdings
Mpumi Maesela is the CEO of SE Holdings, a 100% Black Women Owned agribusiness headquartered in Johannesburg. She leads efforts to integrate finance, technology, and sustainability in agriculture, enabling smallholder and emerging farmers to access markets and funding, with a strong focus on women and youth inclusion.
She holds a BCom in Accounting and Higher Diploma in Tax (Wits), and a Master’s in Leadership and Strategy (IE Business School, Madrid).
Under her leadership, SE Holdings has grown into a pioneering aggregator in South Africa’s agri-sector, advancing food security and rural economic transformation by linking inclusive financing models with sustainable value-chain development.
