Mrs. Khady Evelyne Denise NDIAYE is a senegalese woman who has built an outstanding academic foundation in economic intelligence and private sector development. She holds a Master's degree in Economic Intelligence from the University of Toulouse I and a Master's degree in Private Sector Development and Financing from the University of Auvergne-Clermont Ferrand I. She was also awarded an Honorary Doctorate jointly conferred by the African Institute of Applied Multidisciplinary Research and the Professional Development Center of Tunis.
She joined the Commission of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA) in 2010, initially as Strategic Monitoring Officer. Her progression within the institution reflects her recognized expertise, as she was appointed Private Sector Officer in October 2015, followed by her promotion to Head of the Business Climate Improvement Division in May 2016. Since January 2019, she has held the strategic position of Director of Private Sector at the UEMOA Commission. In this capacity, she coordinates four key divisions: the Business Climate Improvement Division, the Enterprise Competitiveness Division, the Quality Promotion Division, and the Crafts and Very Small Enterprises Division.
In executing her duties, she actively participates in defining, implementing, and evaluating Union strategies, policies, and regulations in the areas of crafts, industry, enterprise competitiveness, business climate improvement, investment promotion, and consumer protection.
From January 2018 to January 2023, she chaired the Management Committee of the UEMOA Mutual Fund, demonstrating her leadership and management capabilities. In 2021, she obtained the CP3P certification from the World Bank Group, granting her the title of International Expert in Public-Private Partnerships.
Her professional excellence has earned her numerous distinctions. She was featured in the Top 500 "African DOERS" by Tropics Magazine and received the Innovative African Women Leader Award from the Panafrican Corporates Awards in 2022. In 2023, she was appointed UEMOA SME Ambassador during the UEMOA Banks and SMEs Fair and was ranked in the Choiseul Africa classification, an honor renewed in 2024. In 2025, she was distinguished as Women Manager Leader during the Golden Cauris ceremony organized by the Senegal Business Movement.
