She is the founder and Managing Director of Hayani Development and Properties (Pty) Ltd and Alabaster Box (Pty) Ltd, two ventures that reflect her vision for sustainable growth and meaningful contribution to South Africa’s business landscape.

Thando’s educational journey began at the prestigious Inanda Seminary in Durban, where she matriculated, and continued at the Vaal University of Technology, where she built a strong foundation for her professional career.

Her corporate journey started in 2000 at Sasol, where she gained invaluable industry experience and developed a deep appreciation for business strategy and innovation. This exposure, coupled with her involvement in two start-up ventures, equipped her with hands-on entrepreneurial expertise and sharpened her business acumen.

In 2014, Thando took a bold step to establish her own companies, driven by a commitment to create impactful business solutions and empower communities. Her entrepreneurial path is defined by resilience, vision, and an unwavering pursuit of excellence.
